蘩漪变态性格和她的悲剧性是《雷雨》的一个亮点,这固然与她在家庭中所处的地位有关,但更离不开女性所受到的来自社会制度和男权意识的压抑,因而,蘩漪的悲剧是必然的。曹禺先生借蘩漪的形象来释放他自己的苦闷。
Fan Qi's abnormal character and her tragedy--the highlights of Thunderstorm--is not merely related to her status in the family but more linked to the constraint on females of the then social system and the male-power consciousness. Therefore, Fan Qi's tragedy is inevitable. It is through the portrayal of Fan Qi that Cao Yu, the author of Thunderstorm, has meant to release his depression.
