知识分子“尾巴论”探析

"尾巴论"的产生有其社会历史的、经济的和思想文化的根源。它不仅排斥知识分子这支先锋力量,阻碍了中国经济和科学文化事业的发展,而且宣扬贬低知识的蒙昧主义价值观。在社会主义市场经济条件下清除"尾巴论"的消极影响,重塑知识分子的形象,就是要充分肯定知识分子的人格独立性,正确看待知识分子自身教育与改造,不断增强知识分子的社会价值感。

In the early of 1950's, a debate over 'tail theory' was initiated among China's intellectual. This viewpoint was deep rooted in the socially historic, economic as well as ideological resources. It not only excluded the intellectual as an outstanding pioneer in the development of China's economy, science and culture, but also preached obscurantism that devalues the importance of intelligence. To eradicate the negative impacts of the ' tail theory ' in marketorientated economy and rebuild the image of the intellectual, We should affirm the independence of the intellectual's personality adequately, treating their selfeducation and transformation properly, understanding their adjustments to the marketorientated economy system tolerantly. In this condition, the ethos of respecting the intellectual and knowledge would be formed in society.
