Theory on the Life Cycle of Industry Location

产业区位生命周期为:集中-分散-再集中。产业区位周期链上的再集中与初始集中是有本质区别的。集聚的中心主要有两大类,一类是新兴产业集聚地,一类是成熟型产业集聚地。前者主要受历史和偶然性因素的影响,后者主要受预期的影响。两种类型的产业集聚程度最高,一是知识密集型的高科技产业,二是劳动密集型产业。

The life cycle of industry location is: centralization- - decentralization - - re-centralization. Essential differences exist between re-centralization and original centralization on the life cycle chain of industry location. The centers of agglomeration can be divided into two categories: the agglomeration of newly established industries and that of mature industries. The former is greatly influenced by historical and occasional factors and the latter is the result of expectations. Two industries have maximum agglomeration: knowledge-intensive hi-tech industries, and labor-intensive industries.
