南水北调工程部分线段应采用管道输水

Pipeline for Water: Better Way in Parts of Sections of the South-North Water Transfer Project

对南水北调东线和中线工程现行输水方案进行了简要分析,提出中线输水总干渠将形成一条“悬河”和两条输 水总干渠均属于严重淤积渠道等两个重要疑虑。继而对管道和渠道两种输水方式的优缺点进行了全面系统的剖析; 回答了人们最关心的四个相关问题;认为管道输水极有可能是这两项工程的一种最具竞争力的输水方式。

After analyzing current water-carrying schemes in the middle and eastern lines for south-north water transfer, we infer the trunk canal of the middle line might form 'a hanging river' and the two main canals of both lines would belong to heavy sedimentary channels. By comparison of advantages and disadvantages of pipeline and canal, we have given four concerned solutions and considered pipelines are the better way for water transfer in some sections on the two line projects.
