Phase composition and thermal expansion of mullite ceramic coatings

摘要 利用微等离子体氧化技术在LY12铝合金表面制备了莫来石陶瓷膜.通过X射热衍射法研究了陶瓷膜的相组成,发现陶瓷膜的最外层由莫来石及γ-Al2O3相组成,随着向陶瓷膜内部的移动,莫来石的含量逐渐减少,α-Al2O3、γ-Al2O3相的含量逐渐提高.陶瓷膜在受热过程中没有发生相转变,其热膨胀系数为6 5825×10-6/K. The ceramic coatings are prepared on LY12 aluminum alloy by micro-plasma oxidation(MPO). The phase composition of the ceramic coatings is investigated by XRD. XRD results show that outer layer of the ceramic coatings consist of mullite and γ-Al_2O_3. With the distance of the coatings to the substrate/coatings interface, the content of mullite in the ceramic coatings decreases, then content of α-Al_2O_3andγ-Al_2O_3 increase. In thermal treading process, the phase transfer of ceramic coatings does not occur. The thermal expansion coefficient for mullite coatings is 6.5825×10^(-6)/K.
