Acetobacter could produce bacterial cellulose. The advances on Acetobacter cellulose were introduced.The review included the cellulose-producing bacterium,the structure and properties biosynthesis pathway,general extraction and treatment,analysis methods and determination of the Acetobacter cellulose.The existed problems during the processing and prospects of the Acetobacter cellulose were also discussed.
