摘要
《戏作三昧》和《地狱变》主人公的变化与发展过程,也是作者芥川龙之介本人内心世界的变化与发展过程。《戏作三昧》提出了"为了艺术的人生"的思想,并通过《地狱变》中良秀这一画师,描绘了一个具有"为了艺术的人生"思想的艺术家形象。"为了艺术的人生"不是简单的艺术和人生二律背反或二者择一的选择,艺术是艺术家的人生之目的,艺术家的人生应该奉献于艺术,当处于艺术和人生的二律背反困境时,艺术家应该毫不犹豫地为了艺术牺牲人生。
The heroes in Gesakusanmai and Zigokuhen are all artists. The transformation and development of these artists actually embody the transformation and development undergoing in the inner world of the author, Ryunosuke Akudagawa. In Gesakusanmai,the author brings up his idea of a life for the sake of art'. Through Yoshihide, a painter in Zigokuhen, the author builds the image of an artist with such an idea. A life for the sake of art' is not simply to choose between the antinomy and alternative of life and art. Instead, art itself should be the objective of the artist's life; and the artist's life should be devoted to art. However,once finding himself in the dilemma of the antinomy of art and life, an artist should choose to sacrifice his life for art unhesitatingly.
