加入WTO将给我国人口发展的许多方面带来积极的影响,如有利于发展经济,提高人民生活水平,进而促进我国整体人口素质的提高;有利于加快人们生育观念的转变;有利于加快人口流动,促进劳动力市场的建立和完善。但入世也可能给我国人口发展带来一些消极的影响。兴利避害,发展经济是我们发挥入世对人口发展的积极影响,降低其消极影响的根本途径。

Entering WTO will bring many positive effects on the population development in China; it will benefit the economic development and raise the people's living level, which will help to improve the population quality. It will also accumulate the population mobility, which will help to establish and modify the labor market. But it will probably take some bad impacts, such as increasing of labor-off and so lowering their income, and the population mobility will make it more difficult for population controlling.
