摘要
模糊性是人类语言的基本特性之一,它形式多样,用处广泛。文章从语音、词汇和语句三个层面对英语模糊语言进行了探讨,并指出英语模糊语言的运用可以展现出语言的柔性魅力、语言的幽默感、语言的弹性魅力和语言的修辞效果给交际带来诸多的艺术魅力。
Vagueness is one of the basic features in our human language. English vague language has various forms and is widely used. This paper studies artistic charm of vague language from three aspects of English pronunciation, vocabulary and sentences to show its unique artistic charm in our communication by its expressing the flexibility , humor, elasticity and rhetoric effects of English language.
