苏联剧变的根本原因是斯大林——苏联社会主义模式丧失了动力机制,走进了死胡同。人们在抛弃这个模式的同时,也抛弃了作为国家领导核心力量的苏共。这是因为,在斯大林体制模式条件下的苏共,长期不思改革,难以做到代表先进生产力、先进文化与广大人民的根本利益。我们应吸取的教训是:按照“三个代表”重要思想,创新理论,深化体制改革,从制度上保证党的先进性。

The prime cause of Soviet Union's Drastic Changes was that the model of Stalin-Soviet socialism had lost its dynamical mechanism. When that model was cast away, the Soviet Communist Party--the ruling force of the country--was also discarded. That is because Soviet communists under the Stalin system had given no consideration of any reform and failed to represent the advanced productive forces, the advanced culture and the fundamental interests of the overwhelming majority of the people. The lessons from it that, according to the important thought of Three Represents, theories should be renovated and the reform of systems should be deepened in order to ensure the Party's vanguard position institutionally.
