Continuing Education: The “Gas Station" for the Librarians in Universities——Reflection on the Quality of Librarians in Universities

为了适应 2 1世纪高校图书馆事业的发展 ,图书馆馆员只有通过继续教育不断更新知识 ,才能更好地迎接新世纪的挑战。本文分析了目前我国高校图书馆员队伍结构与现状 ,指出开展高校图书馆馆员继续教育是一项不可忽视的重要工作 ,馆员应积极主动接受继续教育。

To be adapted to the development of the university libraries in the 21st century, librarians have to renew their knowledge by continuing education to meet the challenge in the new century. This essay analyzes the present situation and the formation of the librarian rank, points out that the continuing education of the librarians in university libraries is a significant job and should be received by the librarians actively, and puts forward the measures to be taken and the relationship to be handled.
