China and East Timor, though, a great distance away from each other, shared many centuries of communication between their peoples. When East Timor fought for independence, China played a very positive role and after East Timor won independence, their relationship has developed in many fields and levels. This friendly relationship is in agreements with the fundamental interests of the two countries. Therefore, they should foster it so that it can be fully strengthened and last long.
