佛经翻译与中古文论之间形成了一种长期互动的密切关系。佛经翻译与当时的文学思潮中都存在着言意之辩,二者同受魏晋玄学的影响,因而形成了一种因缘颇深的关系,为魏晋时代文论的繁荣发展和走向独立起到了重要作用。

Buddhist Scripture translation is regarded as a commentary on classics and literary activity, it has built up a long-term interaction with mid-history of literature and art. Debate between speech and meaning exists in Buddhist Sripture translation and the lirerary trend of thought. They were both affected by a philosophical sect in the Wei(220-265) and Jin( 265-420)dynasties. Therefore a kind of deep principal and subsidiary causes have been formed. It played a vital role in the prosperity and independence of literature in Wei and Jin dynasties.
