翻译认知:述义比例和辖域与翻译

Translational Cognition: Predication Scale,Scope and Translation

文章基于郎加克(Langacker)的相关论点，阐述、分析意象意义之一的述义比例和辖域在翻译过程中的影响。意象意义指的是说话人在心智上以不同方式构建所思考场景的能力。本文的理论基础是认知语法，而不是形式语义学，这就使它的论点与以往类似的文章有所不同。以往翻译理论研究多以形式语义学作为理论指导，研究句子的真值条件和客观意义，而本文研究的是主观意义。

I analyze and explicate the function of imagery meaning-predication scale and scope-in translation according to Langacker's monographs and theses concerning cognitive grammar. The imagery meaning is equal to the ability which the speakers possess to describe the situation with mental experience in nature in different ways. The theoretic basis of this paper is cognitive grammar, not formal semantics. As a result, this paper is much different from the previous ones in the similar fields. The studies of translational theory in the past were guided by the formal semantics, and they studied the truth-condition of sentences and the objective meaning, while I research into the subjective meaning in the paper.
