In the Wei-Jin period,the Wang clan in Langya had been appreciated by the highest rulers because of their profound idea of Confucianism and paying attention to the ethics of filial piety and they were also admired because there were many famous persons who were good at dark learning and pure conversations in their clan.At the same time,they knew how to avoid misfortune and walk up to good luck for protecting their families' profits.All of these were the reasons why the Wang clan in Langya could be promoted during the vital period when clan group came into being and why they could enter the group of nobility.And what's more,these laid the foundation for the prosperity of the Wang clan in Langya for the following several hundred years.
