摘要
本文通过比较详实的类例和相关语料 ,分两大部分概括和揭示了 12 7种百分比变化幅度的英文表达方式 ,这两大部分分别是 :一、关于百分比的增加或上升 ,共 10 1种表达方式 ;二、关于百分比的减少或下降 ,共有 2 6种表达方式。这些基本的英文表达方式的掌握 ,对于我们的阅读和写作 ,尤其是对于科技类文章的阅读和写作将大有裨益。
Based on the appropriately detailed but not redundant examples and some relevant corpora, the present paper, in two parts, summarizes and brings to light 127 kinds of English expressions on how the percentage size changes in amount. These two parts are:1) the increase or rise of the percentage and 2) the decrease or drop of percentage. A good command of these basic English expressions will be of great benifit to our reading and writing, especially to the reading and writing of articles on science and technology.
