维吾尔族与蒙古族大学生是我国西部两个非常重要的双语群体,他们在成长过程中,无不受到来自地方民族文化的熏陶和影响。作者曾假设:由于存在民族文化的差异,来自两个不同民族的两组被试在双语态度方面可能存在显著性差异。但是,研究结果否定了假设。

Uyghur and Mongolian university students are two important bilingual groups in West China and are inevitably nurtured and influenced by other local nationalities in their process of growing-up. The authors of this paper hypothesized that the subjects of the two ethnic groups, due to different national cultures, would be markedly different in their bilingual attitudes, but the research results negate the hypothesis.
