The Orientation and Models about the Law Teaching in the Institutes of Higher Learning in Western Areas

西部地方普通高校的经济条件和社会环境及自身的条件决定其法学教育应立足本科层次,在坚持通才教育基本定位的基础上,把法学学术教育和职业训练有机地结合起来,根据本地经济建设的需求和个人爱好,进行校内外教学资源的优化配置,探索具有特色的"法律+其他专业"的主辅修(双学位)教学模式和"法律学术教育+职业训练"的人才培养模式。

In China's multi-layer education reform, the law teaching in the institute of higher learning in western areas is restricted by its economic situations, social environment and its own conditions. On the basis of generalist education, the academic law education should be combined with vocational training, and the institutes of higher learning in western areas should explore the teaching models of the law courses and other majors, talent cultivating model with their own characteristic of academic law education and vocational training to meet the demands of local economic construction and the students' hobbies, while making good use of the teaching resources inside and outside the campus.
