Recognition and Identity of the Women's Role in the Novels of Jinyong

金庸小说中的女性形象众多且性格各异,本文主要从作者的创作和读者的接受与批评来给其定位,认为这些女性角色既有表面上的个性解放、人格独立,又在深层次上成为男性形象存在的确证物。

There are many female characters in Jinyong's novels; each of them has different temperament from others. This article tries to analyze them and to clarify their identities according to the author's attitude and readers' response and criticism. Based on its analysis, this article indicates that these female characters seem to have free individuality and independent personality, but actually they are female only because of those male characters, which portrayed by Jinyong.
