Operation and improvement of electrostatic precipitator in a sulphuric acid plant

介绍160kt/a硫酸系统的S4L40型电除尘器的结构、运行和改进情况。通过严格控制炉气进口含尘量、防止超温运行、加强日常维护等措施,电除尘器运行15年不大修。当系统生产能力达200kt/a时,电除尘器出口含尘量仍小于300mg/m3,完全能够满足系统稀酸洗净化工艺的需要。

Structure, operation and improvement of S4L40 electrostatic precipitator designed for a 160 kt/a sulphuric acid plant are described. The electrostatic precipitator had run for 15 years without major overhaul, owing to strictly controlling dust content of inlet gas, preventing overheating and strengthening routine maintenance. When the plant operated with a capacity of 200 kt/a, the dust content at the outlet of electrostatic precipitator was still less than 0. 3 g/m3, satisfying the need for cleaning section with dilute acid scrubbing process.
