An Artificial Emotion Model Based on the Dimension Idea

摘要 借鉴心理学中情感的“维量”分析思想 ,论文提出人工情感模型。该模型的处理对象是人们用来表达情感的形容词 ,如“美丽的” .采用语义量化实验和因子分析的方法建立情感空间 ,并分析情感空间的相似性度量方式 ;抽取图像的感性特征建立特征空间 ,采用支持向量机算法将图像从特征空间映射到情感空间 ,在情感空间内实现图像的情感检索 。 Inspired from “dimension” idea from psychology, an artificial emotion model is presented in this paper. The object of the model is adjectives such as “beautiful”, which are often used to express emotions. To build this model, first, a psychological semantic quantificational experiment is done, and factor analysis is condueted to analyze the experimental result, thus an orthogonal emotion space is constructed. Then, the measurement of similarity in the emotion space is analyzed. After that, sensitive features are extracted from images to construct the feature space, and support vector machines are used to map each image from the feature space to the emotion space. Thus an emotional image retrieval system is obtained. Last an interesting experimental result is presented.
