在可预见的未来一段时间内 ,焦炭乃是炼铁不可缺少的原料。虽然吨铁焦比一直稳定下降 ,但为了确保高炉操作顺行 ,吨铁焦炭耗量 30 0～ 35 0kg仍需保证。然而 ,焦炉设备所遵循的基本操作原理已经保持了数十年不变。随着环境保护对减少焦炉排出废气的要求不断严格 ,以及自动化技术水平的提高 ,焦炉设备的设计水平已经有了明显的改进。

Coke is and remains an indispensable raw materials for ironmaking in the foreseeable future.Although the coke ratio per tonne of hot metal has steadily decreased ,an amount of 300～350kg per tonne of hot metal will remain necessary to ensure smooth blast furnace operation.However,the fundamental principal operations of coke oven machinery have remained unchanged for many decades.With the ever-increasing need to reduce emissions from the coke oven batteries combined with the high level of automation technology available,significant improvements have been made in the machinery design.
