Outline of Nuclear Power Development in China

随着我国国民经济发展及人民生活水平的提高 ,对电力的需求越来越旺盛。我国能源相对短缺 ,发展煤、油、气发电的空间有限 ,而核燃料具有极高的能量密度 ,易于大量储存 ,并且发展核电是减排温室气体、减少环境污染的根本途径。

With development of national economy and improvement of living level in China the demand for power grows up day by day. The energy resources in China is relatively in shortage and the space for development of coal, oil and gas generation is limited, while the nuclear fuel is of extremely high energy density and easy to be stored in a great amount.on the other hand development of nuclear power is a fundamental way to reduce the warm gas emission and environmental pollution. Active development of nuclear power is a necessary choice for the strategy to continuously develop the nucle power industry.
