The selection and design of mechanism is important and intricate in mechanical executing system. To improve the mechanic design efficiency, the process of CAD system on mechanic design is introduced in this paper. By using VB 6.0 exploiting tool, parametric and alternant design is accomplished. The selection, design and analysis of mechanism are finished in this system. The comparative choices of multi-scheme can be made to the same executing movement by using the software. In this way, the design speed is improved greatly, besides, the product performance can be improved a great deal.
