摘要
提出了一种基于脊线跟踪的细节点检测新方法,它直接从灰度级指纹图像中提取特征点信息,而不必经过二值化和细化过程,从而较大节约了运算时间,提高了可信度。实验证明,相对于传统算法,除了概念上稍复杂些外,该算法无论从效率或者鲁棒性方面,都具有明显的优势。
We produce a new method for minutiae detection by following the ridge-line, where the minutiae are extracted directly from the original gray-scale fingerprint images. It follows the image ridgelines, until a termination or a bifurcation occurs. Relative to traditional algorithms, the processing time and credibility have been greatly improved. Experiment results show that this method performs better in terms of efficiency and robustness contrast to traditional algorithms.
