教育的根本任务是育人。教育质量是民办高校的立身之本。面对21世纪国际政治、经济、文化的竞争和全面建设小康社会对人才培养的要求,民办高校必须以学生为本,严谨治教,敦品励学,精心育人,加快学校建设,全面提高教育质量。

The basic task of education is cultivating people and the education quality is the foundation of civilian-run colleges and universities. Facing the fierce competition of the international politics, economy and culture in the 21st century and the need for cultivating men of ability for overall establishment of well-off society, civilian-run colleges and universities must take the students as their foundation, strictly teach, help and encourage learning with honest character, elaborately cultivate people, speed the step to build schools and over all enhance education quality.
