Structural Differential: Comparison Study of Industrialization of Western China with the Whole Country

本文对西部与全国工业化程度进行了比较分析,发现在全国、西部产业结构高度化的过程中,西部工业化程度与全国的差距较大并且有进一步扩大趋势,指出西部大开发的第一阶段主要是计划性很强的政府行为的成功,特征是生态环境大保护、基础设施大建设和各种资源大开发。西部大开发的第二阶段,必须重视西部工业问题,培育西部自主发展能力。

The paper makes a comparison on the industrialization between Western China and the whole country. It reveals that the industrialization in the western part lags behind that of the whole country and the gap may get wider. The first stage of the Western Development embodies the success of the government behavior of distinct planning. Its characteristic lies in the protection on the eco-logic environment, the construction of the infrastructure and the exploitation of the various resources . Much attention must be paid to the industries in the western part so as to cultivate its capacity of self- developing.
