摘要
It is found that in the medium of H2SO4,the fading reaction of Beryllium Ⅲ is accelerated by IO-3 with the KBr.The fading of the color intensity of Beryllium Ⅲ is found to be directly proportional to the amount of iodinate present.Based on these facts,a photometric method for the determination of iodine in salt was proposed.The decrease in absorbency(ΔA) was measured at the wavelength of 485 nm which is the absorption maximum of Beryllium Ⅲ.The detection limit is 1.47×10-8g/mL and the linear range is 0~12 μg/10 ml for iodine.
