DMS(Dealer Management System)系统项目的启动,意味着上海通用汽车公司向以客户为中心的大规模按订单生产和销售的新业务模式转变迈出了实质一步。
On September 3, the IT system of Shanghai GM will be
extended to the customer ends (dealers). From the day on. the
first-phase project of it's DMS(Dealer Management System)
—DOL(Dealer On Line)— will be operated among all dealers
throughout the country.
In the system, the dealers will abandon handwork using
such tools as telephone, fax and email, and transfer such
businesses as call, test, delivery, customer-information report-
ing and order inquiry and confirmation to DOL. The depart-
ment responsible for dealers' or-
ders and with a dozen staffers
will be disbanded. Triggering the
DMS project means that Shang-
hai GM has taken an essential
step in its turn to production or-
der system and a new marketing
model on large scale.
