Zhang Jian and the Two Economic Legislation Hightides in Chinese Modern History

张謇在从事实业救国过程中对经济立法的重要性有着深刻的认识。他在近代中国第一、第二次经济立法高潮中都发挥了积极作用 ,特别是在民初经济立法高潮中他是当之无愧的领军人物 ,为中国近代经济法制建设作出了重要贡献。张謇的经济立法思想、立法实践所得历史经验教训 ,以及他对“振兴实业”、“法制建设”、“政治改革”三者之间关系的有关认识 。

In the process to save the nation through industries, Zhang Jian got a deep understanding of the importance of economic legislation. He played a significant role in the first and second economic legislation hightides, especially in the one at the beginning of the Republic of China, in which he fully deserved the title as a pioneer. This was proved a great contribution to the construction of economic laws in Chinese modern history. Zhang Jian's historic lessons drawn from economic legislations and the practice and his understanding of the relationship between development of industries, construction of laws and political renovations were precious mental legacies he left to the later generations.
