On the selective restrictions of Chinese adverb dou (都)

本文首先分析了范围副词"都"左向全称量化时在语义上所受的各种限制,然后探讨了全称量化的"都"在语用上受到的种种制约,并且从不同的角度对"都"受到限制和制约的原因作出了相应的解释。

In this paper various selective restrictions of universal quantifier dou are discussed from points of view of meanings. Different selective restrictions of universal quantifier dou are also analyzed in terms of expression. The related factors concerning semantics and pragmatics of dou are exposed and explained simultaneously.
