The breakup of the twisting lever for T815 derrick truck is a key factor affecting the erection,placement and safe transportation of the derrick truck.In this paper,the causes of the breakup are found out by way of analyzing the operation and the maintenance of the derrick truck and the preventive measures are put forward,resulting that the quality of the surface should be strengthened and the methods for operation and maintenance should be improved in order to prevent the breakup.
