摘要
西北工业大学计算机科学与工程系提出了“先锋网(Pioneer-net)”,论文针对先锋网卡具有可编程的特点,采用缓冲I/O的方式用于在用户地址空间和内核地址空间之间拷贝数据,使用事件对象来解决用户空间的接收程序和驱动程序的同步问题,并且把数据包作为I/O读写系统调用函数的参数,从而有效地提高了数据传输率。
Pioneer-net″,has been brought forward by Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Northwestern Polytechnic University.For the Windows NT device driver,Pioneer-net network adapter is programmable,and the device driver uses buffer I /O mode to copy data between user address space and kernel address space.The synchronization problem between the application program receiving data and the device driver is resolved by event object.The data transmission rate is effectively increased by using data packet as I /O read and write system call functions' parameter.
