Written discourse pattern, whose practical value becomes the concern of more and more people, is the macro-level of discourse analysis. It meets the requirements of decoding information in up-down approach of schema. Therefore, using written discourse pattern effectively in reading and writing can decode information quickly and improve reading and writing abilities. In the meanwhile, it is more efficient to develop writing skills and compose idiomatic writings with the guidance of written discourse pattern than merely through reading and writing more.
