河南南阳市宛城遗址战国水井发掘简报

Excavation of Wells of the Warring States Period on the Wancheng Site in Nanyang City,Henan

1999年 7月 ,南阳市文物考古研究所配合基本建设在南阳宛城遗址明远顶西侧约 5 0米处发掘水井 3口 ,出土铜钱、陶罐、陶壶等遗物 ,时代为战国晚期或稍早 ,一直延用至新莽时期。水井的发现为我们进一步了解宛城的历史提供了重要的实物资料。

Three water wells were excavated at Wancheng site in Nanyang city,Henan province in July 1999.With bronze coins ,pottery urns etc.inside,the wells are thought to be continuously used from the late Warring States period(or even a little bit earlier) to the Xin Mang period.Thus the discovery is providing important materials to the study of the history of Wancheng city.
