持续性植物状态患者意识状态与氨基酸类神经递质水平的关系

Relationship between the content of amino acid neurotransmitters and the conscio usness of patients with persistent vegetative state

目的:应用高效液相色谱分析法检测持续性植物状态(persistentvegetativestate,PVS)患者脑脊液中氨基酸类神经递质,观察其与临床表现的相关性。方法:46例PVS患者按照PVS评分的不同分为3组,与20例对照患者同期采集脑脊液,分别检测天冬氨酸、谷氨酸、甘氨酸、丙氨酸的含量。结果:在该实验条件下,4种氨基酸在25min内得以较好分离。对照组4种氨基酸含量分别为:(3.54±1.02),(3.12±0.87),(14.9±3.23),(16.2±4.35)mmo/L。PVS组4种递质水平均高于对照组,且递质水平与PVS评分呈负相关,PVS评分<6分组4种氨基酸含量分别为:(7.92±2.40),(5.80±1.34),(33.80±7.60),(45.70±9.51)mmo/L,与对照组的差异有统计学意义(P<0.01)。结论:PVS患者脑脊液中氨基酸类神经递质与临床表现有一定的相关性。

AIM:To measure the content of amino acid neurotransmitters in cerebrospinal f luid (CSF) of patients in persistent vegetative state (PVS)with high performance liguid chromatograpy(HPLC),and to observe its relationship with clinical situat ion. METHODS:Forty-six PVS patients were divided into 3 groups according to the PVS scores.CSF was gathered from the 46 patients and other 20 controls simultane ously,and the contents of aspartic acid,glutamic acid,glycine and alanine were s eparately measured. RESULTS:Under the condition of this experiment,the 4 kinds of amino acids wer e separated perfectly in 25 minutes. The contents of the control group were(3.54 ± 1.02)mmol/L, ( 3.12± 0.87) mmol/L,( 14.9± 3.23) mmol/L and( 16.2± 4. 35) mmol/L .The amino acid contents of PVS group were higher than those of the control group,and the contents had negative correlation with PVS scores of the p atients.The contents of PVS score< 6 group were( 7.92± 2.40)mmol/L,(5.80± 1.3 4) mmol/L, ( 33.80± 7.60) mmol/Land ( 45.70± 9.51) mmol/L.The difference between the two groups had statistic significance( P < 0.01) . CONCLUSION:The contents of amino acid neurotransmitters in CSF of PVS patient s have some correlation with clinical situation.
