摘要
目的:了解脊髓损伤后早期电针治疗对脊髓组织中氧自由基含量有无影响,探讨电针治疗对脊髓继发性损伤有无抑制作用。方法:选用新西兰白兔42只,分为对照组、损伤组、电针治疗组等3组,按Allen法致伤造成脊髓损伤模型,电针治疗组术后采用电针治疗。0.5h及6h后取损伤段脊髓组织,测丙二醛(MDA)和超氧化物歧化酶(SOD),并观察脊髓病理变化。结果:脊髓损伤后脊髓组织中MDA含量升高,SOD含量下降,使用电针治疗后可使MDA降低,SOD升高。结论:脊髓损伤后脊髓组织中自由基含量升高,电针治疗能有效清除自由基,减轻脊髓继发性损伤。
AIM:To investigate the effects of electroacupuncture on the oxygen free radicals following spinal cord injury so as to study the inhibitive effects of eletroacupuncture on the secondary injuries of spinal cord trauma. METHODS:Forty two New Zealand white rabbits were divided into three groups randomly: injury group,electroacupuncture treatment group and control group.The spinal cord injury model was established according to Allen's weight drop technique.Then the treatment group was treated with electroacupuncture after open thoracic spinal cord canal operation.Spinal cord specimens were harvested at 0.5 and 6 hours after operation to examine the levels of malondialdehyde(MDA) and superoxide dismutase(SOD) within the injured spinal cord. RESULTS:The levels of MDA increased,while the levels of SOD decreased at various degrees after spinal cord injury.The electroacupuncture therapy caused the MDA content to decrease and SOD content to increase. CONCLUSION:The electroacupuncture can reduce the increasing content of free radicals,and then relieve the secondary injuries following spinal cord trauma.
