大学英语是高等院校基础教学中极其重要的一环,是全面贯彻国家素质教育精神的内在要求。本文力图分析当前大学英语教学与改革所面临的压力,并结合攀枝花学院大学英语教学实际,提供解决这种压力的思路与策略。

College English teaching constitutes a significant part of elementary teaching in the institutes of higher learning, and is the basic requirement of overall implement of the national policy of “Quality Education”. The thesis aims at a profound analysis of the pressures on college English teaching and reforms, and seeking for some ways and strategies to relieve the pressures on the college English teaching and reforms in Panzhihua Institute.
