摘要
高分辨方位估计在声纳、雷达、通信等众多应用领域中占有十分重要的地位。提出了一种均匀线列阵的密集波束域 MUSIC( DBMUSIC)法。该方法形成波束空间时 ,通过波束密集系数控制波束之间的密集程度 ,从而提高方位估计方法的多目标分辨能力。同时讨论了波束密集系数以及快拍数对 DBMUSIC法分辨性能的影响。研究表明 ,与原波束域 MUSIC( BMUSIC)法相比 ,在低信噪比的条件下 ,DBMUSIC法的高分辨估计性能得到明显改善 ,应用前景良好 ,而且快拍数越大 。
Beamspace MUSIC (BMUSIC) estimator is not quite satisfactory for engineering application. We propose a novel dense beamspace MUSIC (DBMUSIC) estimator which we believe can be sufficiently satisfactory for engineering application. Section 1 discusses briefly relevant information in past research. Section 2 explains in some detail our idea of DBMUSIC estimator. Subsection 2.1 explains essentially that, in the process of forming the beamspace, the beam density is controlled by the beam density coefficient W , which appears in Eq.(6). Subsection 2.2 explains how to improve the performance of the original BMUSIC estimator through modifying it into a DBMUSIC estimator. Section 3 gives simulation results as summarized in Figs.1, 2, and 3. Fig.1 compares the resolution probability curve of BMUSIC estimator with that of DBMUSIC estimator. Fig.2 compares RMSE(Root Mean Square Error) curve obtained with BMUSIC estimator with that obtained with DBMUSIC estimator. Figs.3 and 4 show the variations of resolution probability with W and with number of snapshots respectively. These results indicate preliminarily that DBMUSIC estimator is sufficiently satisfactory for high resolution engineering applications.
