Maybe coming from Song Dynasty, little landscape has beenexplained in two ways: small-size landscape painting, and smallpart of a panorama. Sometimes water birds or small beasts ona sand bar or an islet are also adorned in little landscape, whichis called Water Bird Painting. Since little landscapes in art his-tory were related to the painting with a perspective of leveldistance (Ping Yuan) from Song Dynasty, Mr. Yu Yongjian triesto research the mood in the wild and quiet landscape withPingyuan perspective, and in the water bird painting about sandbar or islet.
