In the paper, the structure, operation principle and experimental method of a recently developed medium temperature blaek boby total irradiance device are introduced. The temperature range of this medium temperature standard black body is +50℃～100℃, its effective emissivity is 0.999 and the total uncertainty of given standard irradiance is 0.54％.
