The development of CO laser and its potential application are described. The described lasers iaclude industrial precooling airflow laser, pneumatic laser and water cooled tube laser for surgery. Three kinds of preionization TEA CO laser are briefly described. Finally, the noble metal catalyst selected for CO laser is introduced.
