Calibration of Optical Fiber Loss Testing Instrument

本文从计量检定角度提出一种光纤损耗测试仪的校准方法。利用光纤衰减器、Y型光纤分路器及标准光功率计,可评价损耗测试仪的精度等级。方法简单且利于量值传递。

A calibration method for optical fiber loss testing instrument has been put forward for the metrological verification. By use of optical fiber attenuator, Y mode optical fiber divider and normal light power meter, the accuracy rating of the loss testing instrument can be evaluated. The method is very simple and of benefit to the transfer of quantity values.
