摘要
Duran等曾用硫酸二甲酯合成二羟基联苯的单甲醚。本文报道4-烷氧基-4’-羟基联苯（R=n-C<sub>4</sub>H<sub>9</sub>,C<sub>2</sub>H<sub>5</sub>）的合成,反应路线如下:
The mono-alkylation of 4,4'-biphenyldiol was carried out by PTC method and an improved Williamson reaction. The effects of reaction conditions on the yield of I were discussed.
