叙事文本与意识形态——对凯特·肖邦《一小时的故事》的重新评价被引量：76

摘要凯特·肖邦的《一小时的故事》被学界视为女性主义文学的名篇之一。女性主义叙事学的领军人物苏珊·兰瑟在《叙事行为》一书中对这一作品进行了详细探讨,意在说明文本的形式结构如何表达出“单一的”、“特别清晰”的反抗男权压迫的女性意识。然而,本文认为肖邦的《一小时的故事)并非“单一的”女性主义的作品,文中的意识形态涉及的并非性别政治而是婚姻枷锁与单身自由之间的关系,作者对女主人公既有所同情,又不无反讽,对独立自由也态度矛盾。本文以肖邦的日记和其他作品为参照,详细剖析了《一小时的故事》隐含的多重反讽和深层意义,分析了兰瑟只看表面意义的浅读和牵强附会的硬读,并指出了造成这些偏误的三种交互作用的因素:对作者的定论、采用的理论框架和文化大环境的作用。
