It was introduced the characters,components and general method of backup and recovery of Rman in Oracle8idatabase and also gave a analyse of instance according to the different way of backup and recovery respectively.It was realizedthat the Rman could make the way of thinking of DBA more clear,could avoid many familiar problem when backuping bymanual way and it was improved the working efficiency and quality greatly.
