摘要
本文在分析了UNESCO和WTO两大国际组织的不同性质和宗旨的基础上,从约束成员国的方式、国际化进程的主要方式、对高等教育属性的认识、对高校学术研究的态度、主要合作对象以及发展中国家的地位六个方面,对两者在推动高等教育国际化进程中的不同倾向进行分析和归类,以促进我们对高等教育国际化有一个更加全面的理解。
UNESCO and WTO are not only two important propellers but two important platforms for internationalization of higher education. Based on analyzing their different characters and tenets, in terms of six facets the means of constraining member states, the major ways in promoting internationalization process, the understanding of the nature of higher education, the attitudes towards academic research in universities and colleges, the main partners and the status of developing countries, this paper presents a synthesis and analysis of the different approaches of UNESCO and WTO in promoting internationalization of higher education.
