民族成人高等教育与民族发展——兼谈西部民族地区与发达地区的教育机会失衡问题

On the Development of the Adult Higher Education of the Minorities and the Development of the Minority Nationalities of China

本文通过对我国民族地区的成人高等教育机会与发达地区严重失衡的现状分析,提出教育是一个连续的过程,成人教育发展是民族发展的重要基石,必须基础教育和成人教育齐抓,才可能尽快改变民族教育整体落后的状况,促进民族地区社会发展。

Through a comparison of the seriously unbalanced development of the adult higher education in the minority regions with that in the developed regions, the author points out that education is a continuous process and adult education is a key cornerstone for the development of the minorities. Thus, we should attach importance to both elementary education and adult education in order to improve the poor minority education on the whole and quicken the development of the minority regions.
