Neps is a harmful defects in textile production. It's not only influence the quality of yarn and fabric but also more influence in dyeing quality. Causes of neps and influences of maturity and fineness of raw cotton, quality of cotton ginning, opening and cleaning, carding and combing and so on processes on neps distribution are discussed. and test way of neps are introduced.
