对我国入世后农业院校研究生教育发展的思考

The Prospect for Graduate Education in Agricultural Universities of China after Its Entry into WTO

我国加入WTO后 ,农业领域需要更多的高层次人才。目前 ,我国农业战线高学位人才的比例严重偏低 ,农业大学研究生的教育规模相对较小 ,不能满足现代化农业发展的需要。随着全球经济一体化 ,国外大学会纷纷到我国招收留学生 ,特别是招收高层次的研究生 ,争夺教育资源。如不加以重视 ,会造成巨大教育资源的流失。作为高等农业院校 ,应该挖掘潜力发展研究生教育。文章从各方面分析高等农业院校发展研究生教育的必要性和可行性 ,并相应提出发展的措施。

After the entry into the World Trade Organization (WTO), China will need more high quality professionals for its development especially in agricultural field. The quantity of high quality professionals in agriculture has not been satisfied for the requirement of the modern agricultural development now, and the scale of graduate education in agricultural universities is still relatively in a small size compared with other universities. With the development of syncretism of global economy, more and more overseas universities will recruit our graduate students and share our education resources. Therefore, the agricultural universities should make great efforts to develop the graduate education in agriculture and cultivate more high quality professionals. The measures and feasibilities for developing graduate education in agricultural universities are were discussed in the paper.
